domain.tld/instances

So for example:

http://lemmy.world/instances

Scroll to the bottom and you’ll see them.

Scroll to the bottom and you’ll see them

That wasn’t as easy as I expected.

On Desktop computer, you can use the code below to remove federated instances list. (Use the code in Developer Console)

document.querySelector(".home-instances .row").remove();

(Tested with instances that uses version 0.18.4)

I was on my phone and was just pointing out how long the list is…

That’s a tool made by and for kiwifarms. Don’t share that shit

What’s a kiwifarm?

Kiwi farms is an online community responsible for violence and harassment of trans people

Ohh, thanks for the info! I thought maybe it was a jab at NZ but figured it couldn’t be that. I had no idea they exist, but will avoid them

I had no idea, I had a quick look yesterday, seemed to do what people wanted.

Is there an alternative made by other people?

Why does it matter who made it?

Do you know what kiwi farms is? They’re responsible for a lot of violence and harassment of trans people

Is there any alternative made by respectful people?

I am perfectly aware but I still don’t understand why that matters. If I were to hold myself to such a standard as to never use code written by people whom I don’t like, even if it is justified, then I might as well go ahead and join the Amish because I can never touch a computer again.

Ughhhhh THANK YOU!

I saw this the other day somewhere and didn’t realize it was a goldmine… Then I forgot what it was called, where it was, where and how I’d found it, and the search engines treated me like it was 1994 when I looked for it on my own.

how did you find this?
