I just wouldnt want to see sneaky “promoted” posts aka ads

Nobody is forcing you to follow users/communities on Threads.

You can discriminate all you want, you just can’t harass, bully, violate privacy or threaten violence.

If I open your profile here on Lemmy, I can’t see any of your posts.

I’ve always wondered how Lemmy and Mastodon can claim to be part of the same “fediverse” if they can’t even share content.
