If it was me I’d use a clamp arm, at least when I do anything like that but my table also has a top shelf where I usually clamp the arm

I think if you can find a way to tether the camera to save copy’s of the photos to your phone

then using a sync program to upload like nextcloud or syncthing if that’s still around the folder to wherever you want independently.

The last time I tried transferring files from my Sony to android it gave me like preview images instead of the raw picture. You would have to just keep testing multiple ways to see what works I guess.
